On October 25, the online editorial board meetings of ‘Cybersecurity’ and ‘Journal of Cyber Security’ was successfully convened by the editorial department of the Institute of Information Engineering, CAS. The meeting was hosted by Director Dan Meng, who is also the editor-in-chief of ‘Cybersecurity’, the associate editor of ‘Journal of Cyber Security’.
Dan Meng made a speech and delivered the following message. Our journals should aimed to provide high-quality and valuable services for the academic field of cyberspace security, lead the development of the discipline of cyberspace security with enhanced control of academic quality. Researcher Kai Chen, editorial director of ‘Journal of Cyber Security’ and ‘Cybersecurity’, also as deputy director of the State Key Laboratory of Information Security, reported to the editorial board about the development of Chinese and English journals in recent years. With the support of the editorial board and many experts, the journals' academic influence has been rising year by year.
20 experts from more than 10 universities and research institutions from home and abroad participated in the editorial board meeting of the English academic journal ‘Cybersecurity’. At the meeting, the editorial board had a heated discussion on how to enhance the international influence of our start-up journal. Meanwhile, they proposed many measures on the publicity and running of the journal, which aimed to help the journal become an international academic platform for the discipline of cyberspace security.
Academician Changxiang Shen and other 25 editorial board members from more than 20 domestic universities and research institutes have participated in the editorial board meeting of ‘Journal of Cyber Security’. According to Academician Shen, the journal should strengthen the publication of innovative academic papers, seize the opportunity to develop and help to boost the construction of China's network security system under the new form. Other participating editorial board members also gave many constructive suggestions for the journal’s development.
The attending editorial board indicated that they would continue to fulfill their responsibilities earnestly, support the journals actively, and make joint efforts to build ‘Cybersecurity’ and ‘Journal of Cyber Security’ into the high-level academic journals in the field of cyberspace security.
